I fell in love with Sarah J. Maas’ books a few years ago when a friend recommended ACOTAR to everyone who would listen. I didn’t even know what the acronym stood for, but my friend Ellie insisted I would love it. This was around the time I started my fantasy book blog.

Anyway, that’s how I read the first book. A few pages into the story and I was Wait a minute, is this like Beauty and the Beast? Keep in mind that, back then, I didn’t know fairytale retellings were a thing. Anyway, I got sucked into the story so fast. So, thank you, Ellie, for recommending A Court of Thorns and Roses. I’ve since read many other books by Sarah J. Maas—some I loved more than others. My all-time favorite remains ACOMAF (A Court of Mist and Fury).

Because I know that many of you have enjoyed this series and other fantasy novels by Sarah J. Maas, I thought I might round up ten other fantasy book series and tell you why I think they are a great fit for fans of Maas's work. Under each series I linked the first book so you can check it out.
