Melissa Demirel, an author-screenwriter, introduced her debut novel, the horror rom-com "BLOODWORK," to readers in February 2024. Known for her affection for delightfully dark narratives, she earned her Bachelor's Degree, magna cum laude, and Master's Degree, summa cum laude, in English with a focus on Creative Writing from CSUN. Currently serving as the Writing Consultant for the Graduate Master of Professional Accountancy Program at the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics, Melissa brings her literary expertise to the academic realm.
