In a world where music is magical, the Song is all-important. Choosing to defy the Conclave, the bard Trystan risks capture and mind control to find a magical lute through a shadow network. Dane the wizard, who secretly creates these magical lutes, suddenly meets a sinister stranger and barely escapes with his life. Together, both men are guided by a fae known to them only as Sara.
Sara must learn what a fae is…And that she isn’t really selfish. She is sorrowfish.
Together, the three of them will end an ancient curse which affects both of their worlds…or die trying.
