OMG, Midnight Sun is out!

Back in May when Stephanie Meyers announced the release of Midnight Sun, I wrote a post expressing my enthusiasm called Is Twilight Midnight Sun Really Coming Out?

If you’re a Twilight fan, you’ve been waiting for this book for over 12 years. Are you excited or what?

Without further ado, if you haven’t pre-ordered the book yet, get it HERE!

Midnight Sun Hard cover Version

To be honest, I became a Twilight fan when I was much younger, although not quite a teenager. Part of me is really excited to read Midnight Sun and delve back into the world Ms. Meyers has created, and I count the moments until I get my hands on that book. At the same time, I’m aware that I’m much older now, I’ve read a lot of fantasy in these 12 years, and perhaps my tastes have changed.

So, I guess I worry that I won’t like it as much as I did the other books. That would be a major letdown. What if I end up rolling my eyes every other paragraph?! Maybe my eyes need exercise!

I’d love to know your thought on this matter. Do you consider yourself to be too old to enjoy another Twilight book? If you do, are you going to read it anyway? Please leave your thoughts in the comment section below!

I will read it even if I am perhaps too old for it. Deep down, I think I’m still 17 at heart (although at times I act like I’m 12). I’ve waited far too long for this book to be picky now!

  1. You’re never too old to love something, but I understand the feeling! I haven’t read MS yet but I’ve been excited to see Edward’s POV since she released the first chapter years back. When she came out with the gender flip version it threw me off pretty bad, not that I opposed it but it made my head hurt to read the same tale with different characters. Stephanie is still a writing goddess though
